Still Aware receives no government funding, and relies on the generosity and support from our community. Since 2014 our charity has been 100% donor-funded. We are sincerely grateful for the support of our donors, volunteers and in-kind supporters, which allows us to do the work that we do.

So where exactly do your donated funds go?

As Australia's first awareness charity working to end preventable stillbirth, Still Aware is dedicated to providing free information to all and educating expectant families and clincians Australia-wide. We distribute thousands of free brochures around the country, with hopes that every pregnant family will recieve one during their antenatal care. Our team of clinical advisors help educate midwives and doctors on stillbirth prevention measures, including how to talk about stillbirth openly with their expectant families. Since 2016 we have been hitting the pavement to also lobby State and Federal Government to acknowloedge the stillbirth epidemic that exists in Australia, and to both support and fund measures which will end preventable stillbirth and help increase research for stillbirths where there is no answer.

Want to help fundraise for a specific project or cause?

As a community organisation, we often hear from bereaved parents or members of the community who have a special project or idea in mind on how they want to see change in stillbirth. We believe this is a great intiative for fundraising, and we will work with you to help achieve a project or cause together through your fundraising efforts. Want to know more?
