I just wanted to share my story so other angel moms won’t feel alone.

I was 18 when I found out I was pregnant with my first baby last year November in 2019. My due date was this August 4th 2020.

Everything was good and my daughter was healthy. My daughter's nursery was ready and she kicked me every day to make me so excited to meet her.

At 37 weeks the doctors told me “no heartbeat”. At that moment everything was a blur.

I was too afraid to look at my daughter dead and lifeless. I decided to have drapes over me as I pushed.

I was able to get footprints but that’s all I have of my sweet girl I never got to meet.

All I wanted was to hear my baby cry when I pushed but all I heard was my fiancé’s cries.

It’s been over a month since I lost her, however, I feel strong and not weak.

When everyone else’s babies were being born around me I felt down, but I picked back up because I was going to live for my daughter as every angel mom should.

My baby's name was Laela Elouera Ruano.
