Having experienced the stillbirth of her first son Noah at term, Meleseini Tai-Roche is incredibly passionate about stillbirth prevention. Being a Registered Nurse and Midwife, and having worked in both Maternity Service Provision and Public and Population Health Models in Australia for several years, Mel is determined to ensure the devastating rates of stillbirth decrease across Australia. Mel has experience in clinical care for women and children, health promotion, community development, health policy, healthcare management and primary health care research. She hopes to work with Still Aware, to ensure the organisations very important message is translated into clinical practice and policy in a way which is acceptable to maternity clinicians, clinically applicable and research based and beneficial for women and their families.
